South Central Fair IDOL Auditions
The South Central Fair Association is excited to offer this special event to showcase the talents of our local people as an original entertainment.

Register to compete on or before the October 1st Rehearsal date at the Chase City Estes Center. Then move on to compete at the Chase City Fair Grounds on October 10th!
Here's ALL you need to know!
Registration
Contestants must register on or before 10/01/23 in order to compete. The fee is $20 for an individual and $25 for a group. Fees are non-refundable. Each contestant will receive one free admission ticket to the fair. Open to all ages. You can find the registration link under the discussions tab of this event.
Rehearsals
Attending Rehearsals on 10/01/23 is mandatory. They will be held at the Chase City Estes Center beginning at 3pm. Anyone who has registered and is not present for rehearsals will not be able to compete.
Songs
Each contestant must prepare 2 songs. Each song must be family-friendly and approved on or before the rehearsal date. Each song must be less than 4 minutes long. If you're not playing an instrument, songs must be provided in mp3 format on or before rehearsals on 10/01.
Competition Date
The date of the competition is 10/10/23 at 7pm. Contestants must be in place at the stage area of the South Central Fair Grounds no later than 6:30pm. Late contestants may not be able to compete.
Judges
A panel of 3 judges will score each contestant on voice quality, technique, dynamics and stage presence.
